Like so many likeminded, I usually start the year with new books. Books which I desperately want to inspire me to become a better person. That’s what the new year is all about, right? Become a better person?
This year I’m serious. This year I chose the books myself versus letting them find me first. You understand? I have created some kind of mission for my self, which I to this date only has postponed. But now guys! Now it’s about time to turn the family up side down, nonetheless. Are you ready for it?
We’re going to eat more vegetables, fruit, greens, beans and (way) less meat.
Have you heard it before, you say? Yes, I know. I guess it’s one of top three New Year’s resolution on people’s lists.
It is an overwhelming task I’ve got there. Why should I succeed this time? The truth is, that I am fed up. Fed up with food and decision of what to eat. We are still adapting a new life here across the pond, and the dinners are only a mess. Or, I feel I decide whenever I go to the supermarket what to have for dinner that day, and to be honest, it makes me crazy!!
My motivation is the kids, no doubt. They deserve to be forced eating veggie lasagna or falafel a dozen times, or until they like it. Tough love. True love. Food love.
So, who’s with me?
